Jade Thirlwall (known by the mononymous stage name Jade) is a singer born in South Shields, Tyne and Wear, England on December 26 1992.

In 2011, Jade auditioned for The X Factor series 8 as a soloist, before being placed into the group Little Mix alongside Perrie Edwards, Jesy Nelson and Leigh-Anne Pinnock.

Little Mix became the first group to win the show in December 2011, going on to earn 32 UK Top 40 singles, including five Official Number 1s; Damien Rice cover Cannonball, Wings, Black Magic, Shout Out to My Ex and Sweet Melody.

The group also achieved seven UK Top 40 albums, including 2016 chart-topper Glory Days.
